Nesconset resident Robert Marron was stopped by Sheriff’s Deputies was stopped on Middle Country Road at approximately 1:24 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 when he sped through a red light.
According to deputies, during the subsequent stop, Marron “demonstrated clues while performing standardized field sobriety tests indicating he was impaired.” He was also found to be in the possession of marijuana.
Marron was arrested and transported to the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Enforcement Bureau in Yaphank, where he was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was released following his processing. No return court date has been announced by the Sheriff’s Office.
